Imperial soldiers guarding the Mosque-Cathedral? R2-D2 rolling over the Roman Bridge? Laser swords in the flower alley? It is not an illusion, it is the video with which the 501st Legion announces his next Parade of Star Wars in Cordova.
The clip, broadcast on their social networks, will delight fans of the George Lucas saga seeing its most iconic characters, including Darth Vader, in emblematic spaces of the capital, which becomes the scene of an interplanetary invasion.
Parade schedule and route
The ‘Star Wars’ troops will tour the capital on Saturday October 7 in its famous ‘Training Day’, organized by the 501st Legion and in which more than 400 extras are expected dressed in replicas of the most iconic costumes from the Star Wars universe.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Vista Alegre sports pavilion and will reach the Mosque-Cathedralsurrounding the monument to return to Vista Alegre.
The organization hopes to repeat the success of the public and exceed the 30,000 attendees who gathered events such as those in Valencia or Salamanca.
The Star Wars 501st Legion Parade Has charitable nature and will support Córdoba associations Acpacys, Polka Dot Smiles, Anchored (Marcellino Champagnat Foundation), Noah’s Ark and Cáritas.
