The three Teaching Centers (CEP) in the province (Cordova, Priego–Montilla and Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo) have failed and handed out the prizes of the 17th Illustrated Hyperbrief Literature Contest against Gender Violence.
The contest, in its three categories of haiku, short story and illustrations, has awarded awards to almost twenty schools in Córdoba. Works have been presented at all educational levels and training cycles.
The first prizes went to the CEIP Hernán Ruiz (Córdoba), Ramón y Cajal (The Carpio), Niceto Alcalá-Zamora (Priego), the CDP Children Jesus (Goat), and the IES López Neyra and Fidiana (Córdoba), Ategua (Castro del Rio) and the ESAD Miguel Salcedo Hierro (Córdoba). Along with them, second, third and second prizes. The idea of the initiative is for students to claim and denounce the unreasons of everyday life through their images or texts. These literary resources work on the message by opening or multiplying the meanings shown in the illustration that accompanies them.
He challenge of the CEP is the union of social commitment to art from early ages to, as they explain, “be aware that inequality is not a casual event, nor a one-off event, but a social problem that occurs in all cultures and all social classes.”
