The Congress of Deputies is preparing today, Tuesday, October 31, for the swearing-in ceremony of the Princess Eleanor before the Constitution and that will follow in the footsteps of the celebration that took place in 1986 with the oath of his father, the king Philip VI. After this event, another one will follow at the Royal Palace of Madrid, where the Necklace of the Order of Charles III in the presence of the powers of the State, which will be followed by a lunch with a representation of high institutions.
The day will be completed at the El Pardo Palace with a private family meeting which the king emeritus will attend Juan Carlos Iwho will not be at the previous institutional events, nor was he at his son’s proclamation, in June 2014, after his abdication.
