The water situation of the swamps of the province of Cordova continues to be marked by the effects of droughtalthough the rains of recent weeks have alleviated the situation and the reservoirs show rising numbers for the first time in months.
According to the data of the Guadalquivir Hydrographic Confederationthe province’s reservoirs are located at 14.56 percent of its capacity on a total of 3,320,313 cubic hectometres, while the total for the basin rises to 18.63.
This is the situation of each of the reservoirs in the province of Córdoba:
- Mares. With 228.7 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 15.25% of its capacity.
- Martin Gonzalo. With 20.4 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 10.22%.
- Sandy. With 166.9 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 14.09%.
- Guadalmellato. With 146.5 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 28.44%.
- San Rafael Navallana. With 156.4 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 39.80%.
- Vadomojón. With 145.9 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 7.07%.
- Guadanuño. With 1.6 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 56.05%.
- Sierra Boyera. With 39.4 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 0.49%.
- New bridge. With 281.2 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 11%.
- La Breña. With 823.4 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 10.97%.
- Bembézar. With 327.9 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 10.75%.
- Iznájar. With 920.2 cubic hectometers of capacity, it is at 15.66% of its capacity.
