In these times of ‘geniuses’ who believe they are journalists after some success obtained by putting together 140 characters on a social network, many of these ‘monsters’ of communication are surprised when they are told about something as basic in journalism as the ‘rule of 6Ws’, which the chroniclers of the American Civil War institutionalized to tell via telegraph and from the first paragraph what is news, which must answer the questions ‘who’ (who?), ‘what’ ( what?), ‘where’ (where?), ‘when’ (when?), ‘why’ (why?) and ‘how’ (how?).
