MADURO MILEI CHRISTMAS | Maduro calls Milei “bitter” after criticism of his decree to bring forward Christmas in Venezuela

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has responded to Argentine President Javier Milei, calling him “bitter” during an event held on Thursday, September 5 in Caracas, after the Argentine leader criticized Maduro’s decree to advance the Christmas celebrations to October. Milei criticized Maduro’s decision on Thursday during the Madrid Forum in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital, at a forum where conservative parties met. The Argentine leader called Maduro a “criminal” and said that the decision to advance Christmas was to “hide the fact that they committed the highest electoral fraud in history.” It is not the first time that Maduro has decreed the advancement of the Christmas holidays, but rather a strategy that the Government has systematically used in recent years.
