President Sánchez bases his proposal for circular migration on security in the face of tragedy. On regularisation in the face of mafias that traffic people and against which Spanish police and civil guards operating from places of origin fight every day. This is the ultimate goal that Sánchez proposes with his circular migration plan: to hire people in their country of origin to work temporarily in our country. And thus seek to prevent them from taking the other path: the dangerous and illegal one. During his trip, the president has highlighted the contribution of immigrants to the Spanish economy and opposes the discourse that, he says, is beginning to have a presence in Europe. After Mauritania and Gambia, Sánchez ends his tour of West Africa in Senegal where he will continue with the signing of agreements that seek to curb irregular immigration.
