The Front: the striking survival title will take its first steps in early access

At Samar Studio they are preparing to launch their first project. The team has brought together young staff, but with previous experience in the development of action and survival games with the aim of creating a title that uses cutting-edge technology to improve the user experience. They have called the result ‘The Front‘ and on October 11 it will begin its journey in early access on Steam and Epic Store.

Open world survival

If we get strict, ‘The Front’ is a post-apocalyptic sandbox full of mutants and rival factions. In this universe, players must fight against imperial forces, thugs and rebels in an open-world war that will determine the fate of humanity. The format will encourage us to team up with friends to explore ruins and destroy monster colonies; build bases or set up trap towers to defend yourself; improve technology for manufacturing weapons and equipment; or pilot tanks and planes to defend your home from strangers. Early Access will unlock content from level 1 to 60 and you can progress through the rank system, unlock more advanced gathering and production equipment and modern weaponry, as well as a generous range of ground and air vehicles.

Build your own shelter in a post-apocalyptic world

With no terrain restrictions and no limits to the imagination, the development team promises hundreds of components to build anything you imagine. With this freedom, you can control enemy routes and organize traps and turrets that automatically detect and attack invaders. For transportation, you will be able to access more than 20 different types of vehicles: pickups, cargo trucks, miners, vehicles with anti-aircraft guns or combat helicopters, to give a few examples.

Among the player’s capabilities, there is also the possibility of recruiting NPCs (Non-Player Characters) for support. In addition, they have unique characteristics that will be helpful when manufacturing objects, improving creation time, performance and durability. Meanwhile, you can build agricultural equipment to develop your own farm with crops or explore the different biomes that the video game proposes, such as a desert, rainforest, snow-covered areas and swamps. Remember, Early Access will begin on October 11, 2023.
