The Civil Guard has investigated eleven people for participating in a cvehicle drifting contest held this summer in the urban area of Castroverdein the province of Lugo. The meeting was intended to bring together vehicle lovers tuning sports cars, motorcycles and off-road vehicles. After the event, the authors uploaded several videos to social networks with the reckless driving carried out by the drivers in attendance, where they skidded and burned tires, commonly known as burnout. In these events, the passenger sometimes travels with the door open, putting his body outside, endangering his physical integrity and the safety of traffic and the attendees. The videos show how, when the skids are carried out, there are numerous pedestrians near the vehicle, in an area with free access on foot, without barriers or security measures. After seeing the videos, the Civil Guard began the investigation to determine the day, time, place, registration of the vehicles used, identity of the drivers and the people promoting the event. The agents have managed to identify three cars and a quad along with their drivers. Two people have also been identified as organizers of the rally and another five as collaborators.
