The local police of Santa Fe (Grenade) rescued this Saturday a octogenarian inside a home that her son tried to explode with her inside with a combination of cylinders and braziers
The man remains admitted to the ICU from a hospital in Granada after fleeing and attempting suicide.
According to EFE, sources from the Civil Guardwho has taken charge of the investigation, a man in his 40s designed a combination of butane cylinders and electric braziers with the aim of causing an explosion in his home with his mother inside.
The perpetrator has not been arrested because he remains admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital after attempting suicide.
He already did it in the town of Mazarrón (Murcia) to where he fled after leaving the pipes of seven butane cylinders open and programming several electric braziers to light themselves while his mother was inside the house.
Sources from the Santa Fe Local Police have detailed that the neighbor’s notice allowed action to save the woman, an octogenarian affected by butane inhalation who was also transferred to a hospital.
