I have long believed that society is not fair, that the good guys do not always win and that the world is not moving towards progress and solidarity but towards individualism and greed. Revenge, resentment and settling scores take the reins over common sense and the general interest. I don’t quite understand why the more resources we have at our disposal to make this planet a more comfortable place to live, certain people insist on turning it into an inhospitable and cruel terrain.
