Yogurts are thrown at the Danone headquarters in Barcelona

About 250 people demonstrated this Monday in front of the Danone Spain headquarters in Barcelona to protest against the closure of the plant in the town of Parets del Vallès. Some participants have thrown yogurt, lit flares and put stickers on the facade of the building. The protest began at Sants station and has progressed to the company headquarters. According to police sources, those present at the march tried to enter the building, but the officers prevented them. The closure of the factory affects 157 workers and Danone has proposed transferring 90% of the dairy production that until now was assumed in Parets to the plant it has in Aldaia, in Valencia.
